*Notes: Geroge Alcock was certainly the uncle of brothers John and Thomas Whitehead, who were sent to the New World to apprentice for their uncle, who had died, and subsequently in the care of Francis Hall. John Whitehead was later apprenticed to Jasper Crane, who sued Francis Hall for 40 shillings due John Whitehead. Robert Crane's widow was married to an unknown Daynes. Robert Crane had a brother Samuel Crane. See: The Crane family connections
